Does Laka’s cover camping equipment or outdoor gear?
No we don't. Coverage is limited to cycling-specific gear. The Collective only covers "Insured Gear," which refers to the bicycles and accessories specifically listed on your insurance schedule. General outdoor or camping equipment (such as tents, sleeping bags, or cooking gear) is not covered if it is not specifically a cycling accessory.
What are the limits for accessory coverage?
When adding items to your account, please be aware that accessories are subject to a cumulative total value limit of £2,000. To ensure The Collective can support you during a claim, you must ensure that:
Listed Gear: Every item you wish to cover is explicitly added to your gear list.
Cycling-Specific: The items qualify as cycling accessories rather than general outdoor equipment.
Your monthly contribution is calculated based on the total value of the bicycles and accessories you choose to insure.
