Laka offers Property, Liability and Health&Recovery insurance which can cover you at races and events.
In our eyes - licensed races, non-licensed races and events represent three different categories of risk, and we split them out in our cover.
We define a Licensed Race as:
Any event in which You use Your Insured Gear, where all of the following are true:
Requires You to have a race licence valid for participation, and;
Is defined as competitive by the event organiser, and;
involves a massed start, and;
Is ranked by timed result or by competitive score;
If your events or races do not meet ALL the criteria above, you may not need to take our Add-On to be covered at your event. As per our definition, your 'race' might be classed simply as an 'event'.
Example events that do not require the Add-on to be covered for damage include Dirty River, RideLondon100 etc. Get in contact if you have questions about a specific event.

Health + Recovery Cover
You are covered at both races and events for personal injury if you have an active Health + Recovery policy (limitations apply).
