What is happening
Expanding on our recent new commercial claim process, throughout Q3 Laka will be transitioning fleet management away from Google Sheets into app.laka.co.
Continue using the google sheets as you do today, until we notify you of the switch. For exact details of the new system, see below.
What do I need to do?
For the majority of commercial partners, you won't have to do anything. We will notify you when your fleet is moved, and you will log in using the same login provided when we switched to claim notification on app.laka.co
If you are a high-volume change partner, for example, you make updates often or you change many bikes in one go, our account managers will have been in touch.
Target Dates:
Policies based in the EU: 31st July
Policies based in the UK: 30th Sep
If you have policies in both the EU and the UK, the EU date applies. Please note, if you have policies in both the EU and UK, you'll need to log into two separate instances of app.laka.co
Again, for higher volume clients we will reach out to you.
What is app.laka.co?
app.laka.co is our account management portal or platform, if you have a consumer/retail account at Laka, you'll be familiar with it already.
Recently, we enabled commercial partners to submit claims on app.laka.co, and now you'll be able to manage your fleet as well.
What will I be able to do? What are the limitations?
Prototype example, Final UI may differ
You'll be able to create, edit and delete bikes and accessories (gear) from your fleet, which will immediately update your policy. You can also download a .csv of your fleet. If you have feedback about the design above, please contact your account manager who can forward it to the team.
Gear must be added or removed on the day you intend to add or remove it from your policy. You will not be able to add or remove gear retrospectively to cover, or schedule gear to be added in the future. This is a change from what we previously allowed on Google Sheets.
You'll also be able to upload a .CSV of changes, A guide will be available on the platform.
If you have many changes to make, you may want to consider using the Laka API to update your policy. To get started, reach out to account management.
